Change in credentials of GLPI server, affect GLPI database

Hello
I have installed my GLPI server in a VM. Now I wanted to change the hostname of the VM, it's password to login into the VM, similarly change the credentials of the server on which this VM is running. Will making these changes affect my GLPI database?

This shouldn't affect anything with GLPI. Since it is VM, you should probably make a snapshot anyways before making the changes just in case something breaks to allow you to rollback.

Can I change my GLPI server domain name without affecting database?

Yes. When you log in to GLPI again though, just make sure to update the URL of the Application under Setup > General on the main tab so that links to your GLPI are generated using the new domain name.
