Hello everyone,
we currently use GLPI 9.5.5 and now have problems with the autofill option <\g####> in the "Name"-field.
In older templates that use the auto-increment we have no problems, but if we update any information within a template or try to make a new template, the "Name"-field entry e.g. "<MONITOR-\g####>" gets automatically removed, when trying to save changes. When we try to put the auto-increment value into another field, for example "Inventory Number" it works just how it is supposed to work.
From trying around we realised that any entry in the "Name"-field is removed as long as it begins with "<", if it only ends with ">" it displays the entire content as text and does no increment. When we tried it like this "MONITOR-<\g####>" it removed everything after the "<" giving "MONITOR-" as output.
We also searched via Google, Bing and this forum, but couldn't find something that described this problem.
