Question to logging/history

Hi,

if I understand, the history of an Object is stored in the log files in files/_log and not in the database?
And the log record the changings thrue fusion-inventory/glpi-inventory as from manualy changes in the same way?

What I want is, to monitor the manualy changes, but not the automaticly. And the history shouldn't vanished when I delete the log files,...
