Some Automatic Actions Missing

Hey all!

I am setting up GLPI 10 on a cloud hosted VM, and I have run into an issue during the setup where it seems that I am missing several important automatic actions. I'm sure there are some others, but notably, my Mailgate and QueuedNotifications actions are straight-up missing. I have no options to configure them because they do not appear at all in the list of actions.

When I call the cron. php file via SSH, I can set --force mailgate and the action runs (I can only tell it's working because I can see the emails get converted to tickets) but again, there is no log/history on the action because it is not in the list.

I presume it'd be the same for the QueuedNotification action.

I tried to read through the documentation indicated below regarding registering new automatic actions. I am not sure if that has me on the right track or not.

That looks like it is related to developing new, custom automatic actions. I am simply trying to use the built-in functions.

Perhaps relatedly, I have cron set up to call cron.php every minute, but some of the other tasks that I *can* see do not seem to be running. For example, as a test I set AlertNotClosed to every 1 minute, executed it once manually (to set the "next run" to 1 minute away) and verified that Cron was firing every minute in my SSH terminal, however the logs for AlertNotClosed report that the only times that it has been run have been the couple of times I did it manually as a test. It does not seem to be generating any logs saying "Action completed, no processing required" like it does when I do it manually.

I tried searching here, github, and all over the internet, but I can't seem to find any instances of the automatic actions being missing. Most posts discuss it not working due to configuration or something. If anyone has any insight I would be very grateful! I am posting my config below in case it is helpful to anyone looking at this post. Thank you agian in advance!

As an FYI, I had a hard time posting the config due to the "you cannot post links" rule on the forum. I ended up perforating a bunch of data with spaces until it accepted it, so apolo gies if there are rand om spaces in some plac es.

Holy bananas you guys. I need to go home. My problem was that I was set to 20 rows per page, and that I needed to click to the next page.

Okay, so the first half of the mystery is solved. I was hoping I would be able to figure out the second part but I am still having trouble. I suspect that I just do not have my cron set up correctly. I admit I am a novice with cron and am learning as I go here. Right I have my crontab containing the following line:

* * * * * /var/www/html/glpi/front/cron.php

I have tried several variations including adding php before the path, but no such luck. I am still searching independently but if anyone knows what I am doing wrong I would appreciate your input. Thank you!

Okay, I have it running now. I ended up doing it as follows:

* * * * * sudo -u www-data php /var/www/html/glpi/front/cron.php

I feel that this is probably not best practice. If anyone has any input on how I should have my command structured, please let me know. I cringe a bit scheduling a recurring sudo command. But it didn't work without it and now it is working.
