Good day to all. Suddenly, someone can help, because it was not possible to get a sensible answer from Google and the documentation, or I myself did not see the obvious.
Not so long ago I received the task of deploying a new GLPI system. The system itself calmly turned around and got up without problems. Having no experience with LDAP before, I ran into a problem connecting the LDAP directory for authentication, and specifically, filling in the rootDN field. The system does not accept CN=*username in Cyrillic* and so on. It just doesn't save. If there is Latin, the system saves the setting, but there is no connection during the connection test. Accordingly, the question is - does GLPI fundamentally not understand the Russian language for connection and does it need to be recoded in system files or did I do something wrong at the initial stages of installing GLPI and is it easier to reinstall everything again?
System Centos Stream 8, php 8.2.4, mariaDB 10.3.28, GLPI 10.0.06
