Hello,
since we updated to glpi 10.0.5/php 8 on Windows with IIS, there are several tickets with automatically created ticket tasks - about 50 tickets out of more than 3400 are affected.
The tasks contain all the same desription (german)"Automatisch erstellte Aufgabe" and different times and users.
We do not recognize a pattern why these tasks are created.
Why are they created and can we disable this functionality?

These tasks are created when you select a duration during the ticket creation. Since there is no separate duration on tickets beyond what is automatically calculated from task durations, it has to add a task. Usually this is used to log time spent entering the ticket.

As for removing that ability, the total duration field can be hidden using the ticket templates, but that would also block seeing the duration after the ticket is created.
There is a work in progress feature for GLPI 10.1.0 that would add read-only field options to templates, so that may be something you would be interested in looking into when that version is released (no ETA yet).
