Customize list header column names

Hi!

My problem is that since we have to use "Additional Fields", when listing the the items, the column names show up like this:

Name    Entity    Plugins - Tape details - Retention    Plugins - Tape details - Barcode    Plugins - Tape details - Date

Is there any way to customize the column names?

What is the reason it shows up "Plugins - Tape details - Retention" instead of just "Retention" (or "Barcode" and "Date")
