Hello all,
I have just installed GLPI 10.0.3 on a VM.
I would like to know the best configuration for the below scenario:
1. Computers in the office network and those at home should be able to update the inventory.
2. Computers in the office will update the GLPI inventory DB directly.
2. Is it possible to have a proxy-like "light" GLPI server in the DMZ, which will receive inventory updates from remote computers, and then upload same to the main GLPI server?
Thank you for your help.

Hi netsysadmin,
you can setup a glpi-agent to run as a proxy to only store locally inventories it receives. After it's up to you to choose the best secure way to import inventories in GLPI.
Check this documentation:
https://glpi-agent.readthedocs.io/en/la … lugin.html
For your information, you can secure the submission using a SSL server plugin. And currently only in nightly build, you can also enable a Basic Authentication module to even make inventory submission more secure.

Thank you.
I will read more on this and try it when I am ready.
