Hello all, I put back this subject on the pile because everything I saw wasn't really of much help..
I need to install a redundant GLPI server, that is 2 GLPI servers in front and 1 server that will be my DB.
I need you to think about it with me because I have no idea how to make this happen.
Everything will be done under linux debian.
I saw some little things like :
- a common file server which would contain the config and files of the 2 servers and I will come to configure the file inc/downstream.php and /etc/glpi/local_define.php which would allow me to give the links of the files (I do not know if I can indicate urls)
- a real time file synchronization system (if it exists)
- Is it possible to do a linux stack to share a folder between 2 servers ???
- what else ? If you have ideas
For the common remote database I think it's not a problem, we'll just have to see if the 2 servers don't write at the same time.
And last worry will be for the plugins a FusionInventory, I saw that we could make a kind of synchro with an import export or see if I can make the info of the agents go up to 2 places.
What do you think about it? Is it feasible?
If any of you have already realized this, thanks in advance if you can give me any ideas.
I will describe everything I do to help other in the futur.

Yes I read but the profile it's simplified so the option "KNOWLEDGE BASE ADMINISTRATION" doesn't exist
only option that it's checked it's "READ THE FAQ"

Thanks for your time but yes i saw this thread.
I already thought about an Apache cluster but where I doubt is for the replication of the /files folder I don't know if apache manages that or not.
