adding watcher seems to do nothing

Hello,

we're using GLPI 10. We're having an issue that when a user creates a new ticket and wants to add a watcher, after creation of the ticket, no atcher seems to be added. And as a technician we don't see the field watcher, but it seems to be called observer. Or is there a difference between them?

How can we make sure adding a watcher really adds a watcher?

10.0.2, I already that there is a bug at the moment. Once the ticket has been created a technician can add an observer. But the goal is the user should be able to add a watcher/observer.

Re: adding watcher seems to do nothing

Extra info, after creation of a ticket, watcher is not added. And, opening the created ticket, it's not possible to add as it's showing a sign (round sign with a red line through it). So maybe there is some kind of setting that doesn't allow to add a watcher. I just have to find it. But if anyone else has already found that, please don't keep this a secret wink

Re: adding watcher seems to do nothing

Hi jvuz

So I suggest you to install nightly build (https://nightly.glpi-project.org/glpi/) or wait for the official version, which should appear soon. There are already over 200 fixes ready. There is a high probability that the problem you are reporting has already been fixed. If not - you will resume this thread.

Re: adding watcher seems to do nothing

Just an update, after first installing the 10.0.3 update as a testversion, it didn't work. But after installing it on the production version it miraculously started working correctly.

Thank you very much for the help on this.
