In Consumables, go into any model, in Consumables tab.
there's the ID/state/Add Date of each line item.
And there's the button of "Financial & Administrative Information"
I don't think anyone would use this shortcut, the whole point of Consumables is not managing low value items as asset.
Whereas, "Give" button is hidden behind actions button.
I have to 1. check one item; 2. click action button; 3. Select ‘Give’ from dropdown. Before assigning this to a user.
These 3 steps should be consolidated into one button on item list, where I can't find the option to modify.
Any ideas?

For some people, tracking financial and administrative information for individual items is critical.
For example, my old job tracked replacement laptop batteries like this (didn't use components) and given supply shortages, we couldn't always order from the same seller. The information was used in case the battery failed sooner than expected, we could go back to the seller to get a replacement.
There are other instances were it could be useful for someone to track this information.
