9.5 date picker uses wrong default date when field cleared

Having just updated from 9.4.x to 9.5.6, a colleague was complaining about the removal of the Today button from the date picker.

If one starts from a blank field, the current month is presented with the current day highlighted and one just has to click that date, then click away to enter today's date.

However, if the field had a date in it which one has erased (either with the Clear button or by highlihting and deleting), the date picker presents the month of the old date.

This is particularly annoying when updating the Date of last physical inventory field, as one usually wants to replace a date in a prior year with today's date. It's now necessary to clear the field, save the form and re-enter the picker (2 clicks, wait for the record to be saved, then 3 clicks) instead of opening the date picker and clicking the Today button (2 clicks).

Re: 9.5 date picker uses wrong default date when field cleared

A button for Today/Now was added to the picker for GLPI 10. In 9.5, we changed the library used for the picker and it doesn't include any buttons by default.
GLPI 10 is currently in beta and this was added after the first beta came out so it will be included for the second beta or at least for release.
