Problem with HP printers - duplicated

Hi.

Today I noticed printer that was connected over the network and inventoried by SNMP with serial number CNBWxxxxxx someone connected via USB. OK. But the printer was added as a new printer with a inventory number 00CNBWxxxxxx and... as a device with 00CNBWxxxxxx (I deleted it, but the agent added it as device again). So not even doubled, but tripled smile

Unfortunately, there is no merge option in GLPI (or at least I don't see it). Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Is there any way to fix it?

Hi WebGreg,

did you try to blacklist the 00CNBWxxxxxx S/N ? or make a rule to ignore the device with that S/N ?
