Sofware license question

Hello,

I'm having a question about software license management. Is there a way to leave for instance all security updates of Microsoft out of the software inventory list? I want t o leave out all the freeware programs of the list. But I still want them to show in the list of the computer itself. Is this possible and if so, how should I do this?
