Create Report Template

GLPI version: 80.4
OCS Inventory: 2.0.1
Platform: Centos 5.6

I'd like to create a simplied template for my manager. I just want reporting and inventory. I don't need to show ticketing, management, or assistance, etc.

I have created a non-administrator user for my manager, but I am confused on how to proceed.

Thanks.

Steve

Re: Create Report Template

Maybe I am not asking the right question.

I want to minimalize the menu options. I want a template or menu to show only Inventory and Reports.

Is this possible?

Re: Create Report Template

What you want to create is a profile for your manager.

  • Go to Administration -> Profiles

  • Hit the plus sign to create a new profile.

  • You will see tabs for the different areas you can fine tune. To the far right of the tabs there is the 'All' tab, which will list all your options at once.

  • For instance, if you go to the 'Tickets' section and deselect all ticket options, your manager will not see the tickets link at the top of the application.

Re: Create Report Template

Excellent, this worked! Thanks. At the top of the menu, I see Inventory and Tools.

I applied the new profile to a user id I created by my manager. In the Home screen, I see the tabs Personal View, Group View, Global View, and All.  I don't want these tabs to appear on the home screen. How can I change this?

Thanks.
