Hi,
We have some VPN links to external development partners and it would be useful to have them listed as 'watchers' on some tickets without the need to set them up as users. Is there a good way of doing this?
I have added the people as 'Contacts', but contacts cannot be used as ticket watchers - would this be a good feature to add?
Also when modifying a ticket, deleting a requester, watcher or 'assigned to' refreshes the page, makes the change immediately, resetting any other edits made elsewhere on the page so if there is a need to modify one of these areas AND other aspects of the tickets this has to be done as multiple steps/saves in the right order, which can kick off multiple emails to listed contacts. Any chance the requester/watcher/assigned to fields can be more 'ajax-y' so that they change dynamically but the changes are not committed until the update button is pressed?
Thanks

You can add an simple email as a watcher.
