Test System in GLPI?
We are in the process of migrating from one server (sandbox) to another server (new production). The question was asked if GLPI has a test system. Mainly to be able to do development or configuration work without affecting the production system database.
We are on 0.78.4

Yes, where we could have a separate development and a separate production system, so cthat hanges could be tested thoroughly, before moved to the production system (or database).

I really don't understand : you just have to make another glpi installation (/directory) connected to another database instance... What is the purpose of your question ?
Nevertheless, it could be interesting to have a mechanism of "export/import configuration" implemented in glpi : so, you could test various changes on a secondary installation (dictionnary, ldap, etc.), then import these new conf. in the production environment without modifying datas... (?)
Version GLPI : 10.0.6 + Plug'in Glpi + Agent Fusion 2.4
Plateforme : Win Server 2019 , Apache 2.4, PHP 8.1
