Hi,

what is when you change the value in Surname or First Name to userprincipalname?

Re: How to change username value during LDAP and ocs import/synchronize ?

Hello,

In my AD the userprincipalname is user@domain.xxx. I use it to fill in the E-Mail adresse. You should search your AD or LDAP which field contains the string you like to import and change that in First Name or Surname I guess.

I will try to change LDAP query to use userprincipalname, but alterusername information of computer import from OCSNG is still username without domain name, do you have any solution for this ?

Re: How to change username value during LDAP and ocs import/synchronize ?

Sorry,
my IT-ZOO is so small that I use OCS only to inventory Hardware  nothing else.
But I guess you've to diced for one or the other.

Re: How to change username value during LDAP and ocs import/synchronize ?

Why would you debug anything?

You only have to browse your LDAP look for user@domain and substitute in GLPI
under Setup >   Authentication > LDAP directory > your LDAP server > field Surname or Firstname the import string with what ever your browsing came up with.

Re: How to change username value during LDAP and ocs import/synchronize ?

I know and I has already change my authentication setting from samname to userprincipalname, so Now all users name are username@domainname format inside glpi users.

But I has another requirement is inventory computer information from OCSNG, in this table, there is a field altername come from OCS server collect from ocs agent, it is still username, so I need altername is username@domainname format also.
