How to run fusioninventory agent on windows XP in daemon mode
Hi,
Could any body tell me how to start fusioninventory agent on windows XP in daemon mode? I have open the port 62354 in firewall but when I click on "force Inventory" button in "FusInv Tasks" tab it shows "Impossible to communicate with agent!"
While when I started agent on Linux in daemon mode it worked. Any Idea?
GLPI version 0.80.2
Fusion Inventory Plug-in 2.3.6-1
Agent version 2.1.8-1

Hi,
in general for Fusion Inventory you need to install the agent exe on every machine you need to produce inventory.
and in the registry you have to activate the fusion inventory agent
and GLPI can communicate with agent through a url similar to this: http://yourserverGLPI/plugins/fusioninventory/front/plugin_fusioninventory.communication.php
and the same link have to be setup in the regedit as key value of the *server* variable in fusion inventory agent

On Windows, it's in service mode by default. By to see if url http://ipcomputer:62354/status work. Perhaps you have a firewall

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE--> SOFTWARE-->FusionInventory_Agent and the variable is server and the value is something like
http://yourserverGLPI/plugins/fusioninventory/front/plugin_fusioninventory.communication.php
and then in the browser of the pc that you want to catalog you have to insert the same thing:
http://yourserverGLPI/plugins/fusioninventory/front/plugin_fusioninventory.communication.php
