Network Ports in Computers

Hi,

i´m trying to understand why my computer items have so many network ports. I have severl users that have a laptop, working at the company and from home with vpn connection. By time the computers in glpi are showing many networking ports and entrys of the WLan Card with different IP Adresses they were connected some time ago. The list grows up quickly when users are working every day from home. How can i fix this? I want that everybody have 2 entries, one for the local lan card and one for Wlan Card with updating of the ip adress. Is it poosible? I don´t know if this information is coming from OCS?

I have several laptops and servers that show the same issue.

Could it not be that their laptops have virtual cards (VPN etc) or it is picking up the BlueTooth and showing that as networking?

In my case, it is duplicates of the same network device, as in, showing two network cards with identical MAC addresses.

I imagine it's related to OCS. I haven't looked into it lately, but maybe there is an explanation in their support forums somewhere.
