I'm running GLPI ver 0.78.3. For some reason when I attempt to sync the users authenticating through LDAP I get "Deleted user in LDAP directory" appearing in the history and I cannot authenticate using that person's username and password. I'm currently set up to sync between GLPI and Novell 6.5. Here are my current settings:

Yes, the user really exists in the eDirectory. All credentials are the same such as username, surname, and given name. Doesn't seem to be indexing the correct data to match the GLPI user and the eDir user.

perhaps another user?
firstly, try an ldap-browser with settings same as in glpi. check the user and user's attributes that all appropriate. if so, set the basedn, which the user's context (dont walk entire tree), and try again.

what's the directory's sizelimit ?
how many users do you have in glpi, coming from eDirectory ?

I used an LDAP browser to browse the tree. Users are all showing up. I noticed one thing in my GLPI settings, the last name should be "sn" rather than "surname". Made the change but didn't notice a difference, still not matching up the users. Still stating that "Deleted user in LDAP directory" in the user's history.
Wawa: How do I check the directory's size limt? I have 90 of the 96 users in GLPI that have to authenticate via LDAP.
Thanks for your help guys. I'm hoping we can figure this out.
