Thanks to MoYo for quick reaction to my first post!
I am not sure if the right bug is fixed. I checked settings - indeed linking of tickets from devices was not selected on Profiles, "Linkable items to a ticket". I selected it. I would expect that "create new ticket for this item" link would appear, but it is not.
I find it en extremely useful feature to be able to link tickets to all items. We have a lot of devices in our database.
I believe that the bug is not so much seeing "create ticket" link, but that created ticket is not linked.

I do the test again.
If you have itemtype selected in "Linkable items to a ticket" you see the link.
Following this link preset the ticket creation form for this item.
WHen I add ticket it is linked to this item.
I do not see your problem.

I did the test again and.. strangely enough it works now. I probably had to log off and on after changing profile settings last time.
