Upgrading GLPI via EPEL repo

Hi all,

We are using v0.72.4 and would like to upgrade to v0.78. Problem is that we installed from the EPEL repo (after following one of Remi's guides).

So, naturally I want to do a 'yum update glpi'. Is there any rumour as to when we might expect the new GLPI to be included in these repos?

Thanks all.

Just wondering if anyone had already asked the question.

Re: Upgrading GLPI via EPEL repo

Packages in EPEL will not be updated to 0.78
- all plugins are not yet compatible (mainly datainjection)
- all dependencies are not available (mainly php-ezc-Graph which requires php 5.2)

But package are already available in remi-test repo (will be in remi and fedora official repository when datainjection compatible version will be released)

P.S.1 GLPI 0.78 will be available in EPEL-6 (so for RHEL / CentOS 6)
P.S.2 I'm also the fedora / EPEL package maintainer

Re: Upgrading GLPI via EPEL repo

Hi Remi, thanks for letting me know.

For some reason the remi repo always failed to install GLPI v72.4 for me in the past, so I'm a bit stuck as to how to proceed with upgrading. I will have to ponder.

Cheers.
