Configuration pop gateway mail with exchange 2007

Hi,
i'm trying to set GLPI 0.72.4 pop gateway mail but I receive "Connection fail" message.
GLPI run on ubuntu 9.10 with apache 2 and PHP 5.2.10
With telnet there isn't problem to connect to the exchange server on port 110.
