Enable any attachment type

Hi,

Quite simply, it'd be helpful if we could allow ALL documents (regardless of extension) to be attached to helpdesk tickets.

Often users submit PDFs with no extension, or files which we haven't yet encountered (and therefore haven't setup a document type).

We've also noticed that on occasion, PDF files (regardless of size) don't get attached to the helpdesk, for no apparent reason.

Thanks, James

Re: Enable any attachment type

Edit: Sorry, I posted to this topic instead of another topic by mistake.

I am, however, interested in seeing this feature or knowing how to set this up. Maybe a generic default document extension?

Re: Enable any attachment type

Is this likely to happen? Does anyone have any hacks to enable this?

Currently, even if we set an extension (for testing purposes I called it ".test") it is often ignored (i sent a text file renamed "test.test" and it wasn't picked up....)
