How to swap hardware
I'm trying to swap a few printers.. but this turns out to be a real pain and far from smooth process:
When a printer is swapped with another one (ex. due to defect), the network information should be transfered except for the MAC adres
the connected computers should be swapped and
the location and user etc should be swapped
But to do this all manually, is big task prone to errors..
Is there a way to automate (parts of) this process?
Or how do you perform a swap of 2 hardware pieces?
