Storage [solved]

Hey all,
i am very happy about using GLPI and OCS NG!
I have got one question for a feature and i hope someone can help me.

Is it possible to create something like a storage?
If you do not use e.g. a mainboard and it lies in our ITS Office i would like it to be shown as "Stored" or something like this, to know what's there.
And i would like to create a few categories next to "computer" and "software" like networkdevices, mainboards, cpus etc.
I found a plugin for that but i do not really know if it works because it is confusing me wink
Do you know plugins or options for that?

Thanks and a nice day,

Greeny

Re: Storage [solved]

Hi,

For this i use the following:

- A user named TECH to whom i assign all material that is either in maintenance or unassigned.
- A location named STORE tongue
- and a status acording to whats wrong with the material

This way i only have to list the material assigned to the user and from there check the status.

Hope this works for you.

Unless you know haow to program, you wont be able to create new categories, but if you need it, under componentes in computers you can create diferent componentes, like CPU´s, NIC´s, etc.

Regards.
