Hi,
I found interesting behavior that I consider for a bug. How to replicate it:
* login to GLPI
* find some computer
* click to computer (to get an edit form)
* change serial number to 12345
* click the Update button
* now change serial number to 012345
* click the Update button again
* check that result is again 12345
I also found that if you change value to 012345H it works as expected. I suspect some automatic value retyping cause this problem.
I use GLPI 0.72.3 recently updated from 0.71.5.

I have had the exact same error Josef. Perhaps there is/should be a setting that allows leading zeroes? Does anyone have an update or some clarity for this?
