I have made and testing a custom notification template (not to mess with the default one) for tickets and I started with a copy of the default one.
I have the content I want but it appears that every line, including opening & closing of IF, ELSE, FOREACH statements adds a new line of white space to the email. So what gets to the user/tech is filled with unwanted returns between lines.
I have taken out all of the unneeded manual returns and tried to combine sections on one line but it appears to be a limit to how long a line can be we see the following.

If there is not a simple solution we may scrap a lot of the template to so that its format is a bit better without all the extra spacing/returns.

where did you change the ticket content, which template or file is it?
