How do you guys manage the inventory at your workplace?

Hi guys, I hope i'm posting this in the right sub. I am helping my cousin with his IT company. He currently has 40 laptops, 20 desktops, several projectors, TVs, and scanners.

He finds it difficult to keep track of these devices as most of the employees are allowed to take home the laptops.

Is there a software you use to manage the inventory of all the IT hardware?

Please help me out!
