Hardware Type in ticket creation and watchers


  I'm fairly new to GLPI and I'm struggling with some concepts.

  1 - When I create a new ticket with a "Self-Service" user the option "hadware type" appears. I've tried to edit the form to remove this field but I can't see it anywhere. Also, the field only has the "general" option. I can't see any remaining hardware type options.

  2 - With the same user it has the "watchers" option. I'd like for the user to only see the users from its identity and not from the entire parent identity. Is this possible?

Hi Synvios,

did you use the simplified interface for your Self Service user?

Then you can edit the default ticket template to define some hidden fields or predifened fields.
If I understand it right the the user only can see assets if he has any right to it. So he must be user or in a group defined in your assets.

In administration/user "authorization to a user" you have set recursive rights?
