Tracker 2.1.0

There is a minor problem (at least for my environment) when agent is trying to discover serial number of switches having sysDescr "Cisco Internetwork Operating System Software" This is mainly the case for odler switches like 2900 XL and 3500 XL series. The OID that is used in device_serials.pm is .1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1.11.1001 but should be .1.3.6.1.2.1.47.1.1.1.1.11.1. This is something that should be changed as long as there are no newer switching having the same sysDescr and would then make the problems.

I have also made a list with an overview of some cisco switches and which "tracker models" to use with them, as it mainly depends on the firmware version what kind of information you get. I also know that updating the IOS is not always easily possible due to the matter of the small downtime you will have. So here is the list of some more or less popular switches:

C2924    12.0(5)WC13 and below (IOS needs to be updated)    Cisco Catalyst older
C2924    12.0(5)WC13 and above                                            Cisco Catalyst older
C2940    see C2950                                                                    see C2950
C2950    12.1(10) and below (IOS needs to be updated)            Cisco Catalsyt 2950 4xxx 6xxx
C2950    12.1(11) to 12.1(21)                                                    Cisco Catalyst older
C2950    12.1(22) and above                                                    Cisco Catalsyt 2950 4xxx 6xxx
C2960    All IOS versions should work                                    Cisco Generic
C3508    see C2924                                                                    Cisco Catalyst older
C3524    see C2924                                                                    Cisco Catalyst older
C3550    see C2950                                                                    see C2950
C3560    All IOS versions should work                                    Cisco Generic

Where it says Cisco Catalyst older, that is one "tracker model" that I made for those kind of switches. Generally the 2950 model would match, but the entPhysicalFrimwareRev does not match, because the OID is a bit different.

David are you interested in this model. If so I can sent it to you via email. This one would cover 2900 XL series and 3500 XL series with latest firmware and 2950 with older firm, as described in the table above.

Once again thank you for this masterpiece of plugin for GLPI. This makes life for the admin so much easier.
