Integrate NIS users

Is there a way to import NIS users to GLPI. I have just installed GLPI for ticketing system in my organisation. I want to add users to it. I have NIS setup running in my environment. Is there a way to import users to GLPI?

Yes it is Yellow Pages (YP). I am running RedHat Linux environment

there's no way to do it
the best is to create a csv files which contains user/password and then to use de data_injection plugin to import it into GLPI

another suggestion (maybe better) would be to write a plugin which acts as a connecter (like the LDAP functionnality) and can perform the import.
how are the passwords stored in NIS ?

We must query on yp server (RPC). It must be a little work
