GLPI and Exchange (public folders)
Hi
I'm in huge AD sctructure and it's not allowed to create an exchange account for a virtual person
Our helpdesk system (a simple Access DB) can connect to a mail folder in the Public folder section and retrieve emails to the Acces DB.
As I want to install GLPI as the best helpdesk and inventory tool, I must be able to get emails sent to support.
I cannot figure if it's possible to connect the mail gateway to a public folder and if it's a YES, how ?
The connection to a mailbox (mine) works fine but it's not our IT support mailbox.

It was difficult in public folder, it's not a really mail box and messages can be not in good format. Try this, perhaps it can be working (I think, assign a mail address to this public folder)

nous avons déjà une adresse de courriel car certains utilisateurs nous écrivent de l'extérieur.
mais je ne vois pas comment me connecter à ce dossier public... pour importer les courriels dans GLPI...
c'est dommage si ce n'est pas possible

les dossiers public ont une adresse mail (un truc bateau). De mémoire (ça fait longtemps) quand tu regardes les propriétés ou les objets dans l'AD se référant à ce dossier public, tu peux voir cette famause adresse.

j'ai trouvé et configuré GLPI pour mais la connexion est OK sans récupérer les courriels
en fait, comme le dossier public n'est pas relié à un utilisateur physique, GLPI ne peut pas récupérer les courriels..
