How to manage computer name changes

When I change the name / hostname in OCSNG, it thinks it's a whole new PC. This is okish, but in GLPI I used to be able to use the link new PCs to existing GLPI entries under the OCSNG settings. Now, it just says there's a link already existing. So I tried cleaning links - no good.

Then I tried what I used to do, delete the computer in OCSNG - but now the entry in GLPI is gone.

How are you supposed to do this and keep the history of the hardware through hostname changes?

Re: How to manage computer name changes

Just don't set hostname in AUTO_DUPLICATE_LVL and change will go from OCS to GLPI without problem
