Switching from "Multi Entities" to "Single Entity" mode possibel?

Hello,

last few moments I've spend some time to mockup the mailtext for new tickets etc. by editing the PHP directly, and there I've found the following funktion:

    function isMultiEntitiesMode(){
          ... snip ...
    }

So my question: Is it possible to run GLPI in a single entity mode, and can I switch to it from Multimode to eleminate the horrible "Wurzel | sometexthere" (de_DE) in subjects?
We only have one, the root entity, and never get more.

if you have no defined entities (items in glpi_entities) you will not have it

Thank you.

But why did the GLPI-Installer add an entity by default - that isn't clear or well dokumentet, a simple question like: "Would you like to manage more than one entity with GLPI?" in the installer would do a very, very nice job. ;-)
