Contract expire dates

Hi all fellow GLPIers

Iam having some troubles with the contracts option in GLPI i want it to sent me an email a month before the expire date. Now i have found the nice option but iam recieving nog email. But the weird part is i will recieve mail when i push the date back for about one year.

Heres how i set a contract up

Entity will be the Root

Name: Test1
Number: 0003
Cost: €200
Duration:  1> 09-06-2008
Contract Period: 1 month
Renewal: express
Max number of items (0=unlimited): 0
Contract Type: Gold
Begin date: 09-05-2008
Account number: random
Notice: 1 month >09-05-2008
Invoice Period: 1 month
Email Alarms : End + Notice

so the expire date is today but iam recieving no notification emails. what am i doing wrong ?
the mail system is working on all fronts.

notice is computed from the end of the contract.
You set a contract for which the notice begin when the contract begin.
