The issue: Notifications with credencials not work
Setup -> Notifications -> Setup
IF password is set THEN send email don't work.

my specs
Ubuntu 12.04.5 LTS - GLPI version 0.85.4 - Exchange 2010 in W2k8r2
I think the problem can see here: http://server/glpi/front/config.form.php
look in Notifications for "Way of sending emails: SMTP (helpdesk@192.168.1.9)"
the ip address that is show belong to the mail server, and should be the domain after the "@"
