Additions - PAT Testing

Hi All,

I have installed OCS Inventory and GLPI, which are both great products..

As part of our yearly health and safety, we have to PAT test all our equipment. Is there a way to add the following information :-

PAT Tested Date
PAT Test results

This would be really helpfull as PAT testing is required by UK LAW.

Thanks,

Martin

Re: Additions - PAT Testing

What is PAT ?

Perhaps the developpment of a plugin is the best way to manage that.

Re: Additions - PAT Testing

Hi

Pat testing or portable appliance testing is an important part of any health & safety policy. It makes sure that your electronic equipment doesn't have any shorts etc... So you measure the voltage, leak test etc..

The information that need to be recorded is only about 5 items..

Date
Leak Test -
Leak Test +
Voltage -
Voltage +

I think that's about it... So it would be nice if on the computer form you had a bit where you could fill in these vaules and you could then run a report to see when the next PAT testing needed to be done..

Thanks,

Martin

I think that create a plugin for that is a better way.
