installation of plugins in glpi 0.90.1

I am triying to download and install a couple of plugins. The general model of work with plugins seem to have changed, particularly  in plugins with name of the style xxxx-master.
I used to download plugins in my plugins directory, change permissions to allow access to apache,  and that was enough to see the plugin recognized and added in setup/plugins menu and install it.

Plugins named xxxx-master are not recognized the same way. I have been searching but dont find this problem mentioned and also did not find documentation of plugin installation changes.

Please, any help is very welcome

you can try in shell in plugin directory:

git clone http://github.com/...

for me it's working.
