Hi.
I'm Daniel from Brazil and i'm implementing glpi in a goverment company of state of São Paulo.
My boss liked a lot the glpi solution and it will reduce significantly the amount of paper needed today.
I'm choosing a beautiful hardware to assemble a nice webserver and for now, the glpi app is in my own machine, for feeding and data entry.
I customized the look to match the state and intranet colors and integrated with the ldap server.
Here in Brazil, the first name is the main information needed from people. The last name is secondary, so i had to patch the glpi files to match my needs. Now the glpi shows only Common Name (complete name) in the place that was last name before and the funcion on the name field. I got this information from the ldap, don't blame me if they don't have the last name registered there.
I've fixed some translations mismatches and linux/firefox design uglyness.
Why an opensource software looks worst in linux than windows?
The IE just renders nice and my linux+firefox3 doesn't. Had to change the main table width from 80% to 95% becouse i was having a lot of line breakings.
One thing never works for me, the external links. When i create one like "http://[IP]" for access printer webservers, the system sends me a file download named "http:__[IP]".
I just don't understand that.
Well, the software is great. I hope i can contribute with it some day, i love to code, but only can code small things.

No issue here...
Perhaps a missing fonts..
If you encounter issue with tabs (not enough place on the windows), it will be fixed in 0.72 (new tab widget).

You should only fill the Link, not the content.

Just minor design bugs, like the main table wider on IE and narrow on FF.
I just edited the CSS and set the width to 95% and now it's OK.
Now the fields don't have line break anymore.
I just tested the v 0.72 yesterday at home and noticed that it don't have this bug anymore.
Congratulations, boys!
