Problem with Archires Plugin [SVN110209]

Hope that is the right section, as this is the only English speaking one, otherwise a mod will surely move it.

I have a little problem that the plugin is not drawing the graphs. When I hit the test render, everything tht is configured is shown and prepared with graphviz names, etc. but when it comes to the graphviz window where the test render will take place, there is just nothing, not even a red cross. I have installed both prerequsites Graphviz 2.8 and Graphviz-graphs and I am running out of ideas.

No I don't, sorry maybe misunderstanding, when I enter the "test section" I just see the icons and the names that have been assigned for the graphviz images, but the graphviz at the end is not showing up anything, nor an error in debug mode nothing in the logs.

Re: Problem with Archires Plugin [SVN110209]

To put it in simple words yes. Calling "dot" or "neato" from the shell is working. Symbolic link is there, so you can call it from anywhere, plugin should find it.

Just as some additional info that I get when I start the "generation". I get the error in debug mode "PHP ERROR: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0 in /var/www/html/glpi-unstable/plugins/archires/inc/plugin_archires.functions_display.switch.php at line 1620"

But I believe that just means that there is nothing for "dot" to render as it's receiving nothing, or am I wrong here ?

Re: Problem with Archires Plugin [SVN110209]

tsmr, I think you can blame me on this one. I finally got graphviz to work. The only mistake I made, was forgetting to run dot -c to initialize the plugins for layout and usershape.
You better close this one wink
