Same RAM Type, different module sizes

Hi.

I have a PC with 3 RAM modules, all DDR 400. One of them it´s 512 MB, the others 256 MB. I have the memory types identified by type + frequency (DDR400, for example).

When assigning components to a computer I can only select the memory type, so I add 1xDDR400, and set size on 512. I now want to add the 2x256 modules, but adding a same type module increments the quantity of previously defined module, and I cannot enter the correct info.

¿There is a way to do it? (have the same component more than one time in a computer, with different sizes each time).

Thanks!

Re: Same RAM Type, different module sizes

WHat is your glpi version ?

Try to change the default size  and you will be able to add again the same ram type to specify another size.

That does the trick, thanks ... I suppose it´s better (at least in my case) not to set a default value which can be frequent.
I´m using last GLPI version (0.71.3)

Thanks again.
