Currently I am using OCSInventory NG for make the inventory of my network. Since 1 week (more or less) I have started to use GLPI and it's very powerfull. I have connected with my Active Directory of Windows and work very well.
Aswell I have connected it with OCSInventory for import all computers and it's work but I have see one problem: In the software list appear some licenses like Windows XP but really they are licenses of Microsoft Office XP and Microsoft Office 2000. Ej.: If I have 10 computers with windows XP, 15 computer with windows 2000 and 20 licences installed of Microsoft office XP or 2000 (it's the same) in GLIP appear that I have 30 Windows XP and 15 Windows 2000 but don't appear the Microsoft Office licenses but in OCSinventory NG appear correct this licenses.
In this moment I have the last version of OCSInventoy NG for Windows (XAMP) and the last version of GLPI and the last version of the pluggin for import data of OCSInventory NG.
We have 1100 computers inventoried.
Could you help me please?.

I have done more test about this problems. I think ,the problem could be the software dictionay of GLPI or the import process of GLPI because in OCSInventory the license appear with the correct name but when I import it in GLPI the name change by other. Normaly appear a lot of Windows 2003 or Windows XP because confuse it with Office for example.
I have checked using OCS software dictironary maked in the configuration and dismarked aswell. When marked the dictionary check appear problems with Windows XP and when dismarked it appear problems with WIndows 2003 aswell (appear 2300 licenses of windows 2003 when it's impossible).
Aswell I can see that if you group the software in OCSInventory in categories (ej.: you can make one categorie for the actualizations), GLPI import the actualizations by separate and import asweel this categorie. Asweel import the software of IGNORED categorie of OCSINventory.
Someone have the same problems?.

If name is changed by the GLPI dictionnary, check the rule you have activated.

Where are this rules?
Currently I don't have defined any software dictionary in GLPI. This is empty and I have try with the OCS Dictionary and without it.

If you have not defined any software dictionary in GLPI (rules), GLPI will not change any software name.

I haven't defined any rule but I don't know why GLPI change the name of some applications like Windows XP and Office XP (for GLPI is the same).

I have found the problem.
The problen is that the first time that I have imported the applications and computers from OCSInventory, I have marked the option "Use OCS Software Dictionay". Them the list of software was wrong. After of this I have deleted all software and try another time to import the software from the OCS but with the same result because the software continue in the basked.
For solve the problem, I have deleted all software in GLPI and empty the basked and import one time more the software from OCS without the Software Dictionary.
