Feature Request - Entity wide alerts

When a post only user logs in it would be nice to have a banner along the top for entity wide annoucements - for instance during a Internet Connection Outtage or some other issue that affects all users, or a large group of users.

Re: Feature Request - Entity wide alerts

I guess a message at the login screen would be best.

I see there are "Global" notes, but I dont see how to create one.

Re: Feature Request - Entity wide alerts

From central, click the "+" icon on the right of "public notes"

From menu : Tools / Notes / +

A global note is a "root entity" + "recursive flag" note.

Re: Feature Request - Entity wide alerts

Ok - I figured out the global note - thank you, but it doesn't do what I am suggesting.

This sort of note should be displayed either at the login screen in a red box possibly, or at the top of the screen after logging in.

Even better - you could have the option of either.

For some people with a single entity, putting it on the login page would be the most efficient way to notify everyone of major issues.
