GLPI with AD authentication

Hi,
After many trials I have failed to integrate Glpi with AD. I do not get any error message. My config is below. The configuration seems to be perfect as per my knowledge

GLPI version: 0.68
OCS version : 1.01
AD server : Windows Server 2003

LDAP config:
LDAP Host: 172.16.0.22
Port: 389
Basedn:DC=BOMBAYDYEING,DC=LOCAL
Rootdn: CN=Pravin Adm,OU=Users,OU=Worli,OU=Textile Division,OU=BDMCL,DC=BOMBAYDYEING,DC=LOCAL
Pass: "mypassword"
Connection Filter: "I have left blank"
Loginfield: samaccountname
UseTLS:No
realname: sn
First name: givenname
location: physicaldeliveryofficename
email:mail
phone:telephonenumber

I have tried with connection filter as well but with no success. Please help

Re: GLPI with AD authentication

hello
there's a pre-configuration model called "active directory" when you create it in glpi...
it fills all the mandatory fields with the right values

Re: GLPI with AD authentication

@wawa : not in GLPI 0.68....

@pravinpanday : you probably must upgrade to a recent version to have a good AD support.

Re: GLPI with AD authentication

Thanks,

I will that out and then revert. Actually I tried using the latest stable version but below is the problem I face which I have posted as a new topic in http://www.glpi-project.org/forum/viewt … p?id=13041

I am running OCS 1.01 server with XAMPP ( that has perl, php, mysql, apache) and GLPI 0.68. With this combination I can import computers from OCS and all the inventory fields match with imported computers.

But when I use any glpi version like 0.70 or above it imports the computers successfully but the fields do not macth at all.

Ex: Status, Manufacturer, Serial number, Type, Model all the fields are blank. The Name displays the computername perfectly. Please help. I would like to use a later version of glpi rather than 0.68.

THATS THE REASON I TRIED TO USE THE OLDER VERSION.
