After upgrading no colours and forms (eg. pics) in Website

Hello all,

i want to thank for this great projekt. Saving time to everyone have to support networks. Go on with it, i pretty like this software.

After upgrading from 0.71.2 to 0.71.3 everything looks fine. I have done it like described in howto. Now i have a problem, in browser (ie an firefox) there is no colour no pic, login screen have no bg-pic and so one. Everything works, but no colour. I´m a little bit confused over this.
Any hint´s to solve?

What do you mean, by no background pic ? Does you get this small red cross for the bg pic like it is not loaded. If so, double check the permissions on the glpi directory, so that apache server is at least able to read. from it.
Other than that I have no idea for now, except replacing your monochrome screen with a colour one smile

Re: After upgrading no colours and forms (eg. pics) in Website

The bg-clor is (imho) yellow, but mine is white (means no color), if u going to select a dropdown-menu its colored, but here isn´t. I don´t understand it, because before upgrading to 0.71.3 it works perfekt. Now i´ve lost all colors at the website. And yes, i have red crosses where a pictur should be. I have double checked permission, temporaly set to 777 (of course i have restarted httpd), but nothing happens. So i´m confused. I also deleted everything in cache. No changes. Don´t know where i have to look to solve this.

Re: After upgrading no colours and forms (eg. pics) in Website

Hmm, as you are getting red crosses where a picture should be it looks like the webserver cannot access or find those pics. My suggestion would be to set the user permissions to apache.apache and all to 777 temporarly.
If that does not help I would suggest making a dump (backup) from teh GLPi interface. Then rename the current glpi directory to whatever and untar the 0.71.3 version again set permissions to apache.apache 755 and the config and files as you to 777. Go through the initial config again and say that you want to have a new install. Create a new database.
If done, try how the login screen looks on that freshly created built. If you still have that problem, we probably have to look somewhere else, webserver, etc.
If that works, import your dump file made with the "damaged" version and see what happens.

Re: After upgrading no colours and forms (eg. pics) in Website

Solved !

I have found this f***** failure. I downloaded and unzipped with W*****, because i got an failure unzip/untar it under linux (btw: its running under CentOS 5.2, MySQL 5.0). Why i can´t figure out. Gzip show crc failure, tar old header file. So i unzipped  under W****. I copied with SCP, and while copying there must occured an transmission failure. I copied once more and now it´s working like it should. Now i have to figure out where this f**** failure occured.

Thx for helping
