Hello.
I'm going to explain my problem.
- I have GLPI 0.71.2.
- I have one user (user1).
- I have two entities (Root, Entity1).
- Entity1 is below Root.
- I have two different rights level (Level1, Level2).
- Level1 and Level2 are the same EXCEPT that Level1 doesn't have writing rights to the Knowledge Base.
Now, user1 has the following rights in the following entities:
- Root: Level1
- Entity1: Level2
With those rights, when user1 access GLPI, he can only see the entity Entity1. My problem is that he would have to be able to see Root entity... but there must be a problem in GLPI.
If I configure user1 with the following privileges:
- Root: Level2
- Entity1: Level2
Then user1 can see both Root and Entity1. That's what I want to do, but with different privileges in each entity.
I think there must be a bug in GLPI. I haven't yet installed GLPI 0.71.3 because I haven't seen in it's changelog anything related to this.
Thanks.
PD: I've fixed my mistake with Entity2, sorry.

you mix entity1 and entity2 in your explanations and I understand nothing.

I've updated my GLPI to 0.71.3... just in case it fixed this, but unfortunately not, it still doesn't work :-(

I've just discovered one new thing in GLPI: when a user has different rights, next to the entities he can select with which privileges he wants to work, and depending on this the entities where he can work with those privileges are available.
Sorry for my ignorance, I just had to switch from Level1 to Level2 to see Root or Entity1 :-(
So GLPI works ok... at least my mistake made me update it :-)
