Hi there,
I have added a user pauladmin to the internal auth. After connecting GLPI to our LDAP server, as pauladmin is a user on the LDAP, it overwrites the settings with that contained on LDAP. No matter how many times I set auth to internal GLPI, it reverts back to LDAP again
Any ideas?

Hello,
When a user is synchronized with an ldap directory, datas coming from it will always overwrite datas entered manually
if you don't want a data to be overwritten, then you have to let the field empty in the ldap configuration

But I have changed the user from LDAP to internal synchronization, but after some time, it changes back to LDAP
I have another user steveadmin, that is also on LDAP but is set to internal auth, this never changes or reverts to LDAP.
The only difference is, steveadmin existed before the LDAP was enabled

hello
does the pauladmin user did an unsuccessful auth ?
Offline
always successful auth, the password for the internal glpi and LDAP are the same though
I've even deleted and purged the user from glpi, recreated it manually - but eventually it switches back to LDAP
