Users not displayed (but in DB)

Hello and thank you for GLPI!
First- Here is my environment:
Apache/2.2.3 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.3 OpenSSL/0.9.8d mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.2.0 mod_perl/2.0.2 Perl/v5.8.8, MySQL Server version: 5.0.27-community-nt (SQL server on different machine than webserver)

LDAP- Based on preconfiguration model now, as I've successfully used GLPI since v 0.65.
Search Type: Users
Filter to search in groups & Connection Filter: (objectClass=user) ''adding the "extra string didn't help me.

I also have OCS sync enabled and working
____________
I've been using LDAP authentication for some time and prior to version 0.70.1 users would login to GLPI through LDAP and automatically see the post-only screen.  However, I setup Entities (unsure if related) after the 0.70.1 upgrade and when an AD user logs on this is no longer the case.  Instead, they see "Access Denied."  I upgraded to 0.71.1 tonight in hopes of solving this.  Unfortunately, the problem continues.

Troubleshooting steps I've performed:
1.  A user that logs on with their Windows 2003 AD username and password is added to the GLPI database with all appropriate fields mapped to AD, BUT it does not log the user on and simply takes them back to the logon screen.   The log in GLPI shows two entries, but no errors (even in debug).
2.  I try to query the username through the Administration->Users and the user is not found, but if I try to import the user it will say the user already exists, which requires me to remove the user from the database table manually.
3.  If I manually add the user in GLPI and try to change the authentication method it reverts back to the GLPI database each time.

This is all very odd and wondered if any one else has any ideas on how I might proceed?

Re: Users not displayed (but in DB)

I am having this same issue.  I sync with AD and when I deleted the user in GLPI to create a local one of the same name I am told the user already exists.  Did you find a solution to this issue?

Edit:  Sorry for the post.  I found the trash for viewing users that need to be purged.

Search in the trash.

Delete put "item" in trash, need to use Purge option to remove it.
